Heating Service Award Guidelines

Angie’s List Super Service Award 2020 winners met or exceeded strict eligibility requirements, including but not limited to maintaining an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade, and review period grade. Michael came to give us a quote on a new ac unit. He was detailed in the costs, professional, and not pushy at all. That was refreshing, after having several salesmen-type people from other businesses. Joel and his partner came to do the install, they were on time and very focused on their job. A few days later a fuse popped on our furnace (not their fault, whoever previously hooked up our thermostat made this mistake) and Scott came out immediately that day to fix it at no cost.

Great job installing new furnace!! I've been feeling out Home Heating for several months... they replaced my hot water heater and water pressure valve. They were reasonably priced (not the cheapest or most expensive)... they did what they said they would do and ensured the job was done right! With that history, I used them for replacing my furnace. They did a great job on this!! Workmanship was great! I will continue to use this company for my mechanical issues! thanks!!!

So many companies try to up sell and I feel comfortable that Home Heating Service, Inc. tells the real story and doesn't add in a lot of extras to charge you for. It was very hot outside and our air conditioning went out. Home Heating was able to work us in to their busy schedule and our tech was Dusty. He was on time, very professional, knowledgeable, and worked until he found the problem and fixed it promptly. I would highly recommend Home Heating and Dusty. Will call them from now on.

Carlos Garcia was our service tech and he did a phenomenal job. He was on time. Very respectful. And had a great sense of knowledge with our A/C unit. He worked at a great pace and took the time to stop and explain what he was doing every step of the way. The prices were great to get our A/C back up and running. Very good company to work with. They were able to give me an estimate for a humidifier after I texted them pictures of our furnace setup and they came out the next week. The technician was on time and very professional, taking the time to explain how to operate and maintain the humidifier. Very pleased with the service.

This is the second time that I've had Home Heating Service come out and perform maintenance on my HVAC system. They've continually kept in contact up to the appointment time. Their tech Nathan called ahead to let me know he would be arriving soon. He was professional and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and had a continuous running commentary of everything that he was doing.

All in all, very happy to continue to have them come out to service my system again.

Great experience with Home Heating. Had a Water Heater that leaked and flooded my basement partially. Gave them a call the next morning and they quickly scheduled Scott to come out and take a look at it. Scott was great and explained everything in detail. I even signed up for their maintenance plan. Would definitely recommend them to any of my friends.

Clint showed up exactly on schedule, and explained what the issue was with the furnace. He had the parts needed on his truck, and it didn't take long, before our heat was restored.

I was surprised that initially I was able to schedule a service call for the next day, because of the holiday season and the impending cold front. I was sent text reminders and updates, and on the day of service, I could follow the technician's location in real time!

Our furnace stopped working suddenly. I called HHS and they were booked up, but the very responsive lady said that she would somehow work us in. Brett came to the house and fixed the furnace. He did an excellent job. Great company and people.
